Liquidation-aware grid (martingale)
Adds to the position just before the projected liquidation price, scaling each order up by an adjustable % and sizing the margin so the recomputed liq stays beyond the next rung. High risk — gated.
Classic grid (range-bound)
Ladder of buy/sell limits across a fixed range; profits from oscillation. Best in chop, loses in trends.
DCA (non-martingale)
Time- or dip-triggered equal-size accumulation. Proactive, not loss-chasing — much safer than martingale.
TWAP accumulation
Splits a target size into time-sliced sub-orders to minimize impact. Uses Hyperliquid's native TWAP order type.
Trend-following (MA crossover / momentum)
Enters on fast/slow MA cross or momentum confirmation; exits on reverse. Wins in trends, whipsaws in chop.
Funding-rate arbitrage / farming
Delta-neutral (spot + perp) to harvest funding while net price exposure ≈ 0. Limited by asset coverage and fees.
Breakout
Enters on a confirmed move beyond a key level (range high/low, Donchian) to catch a new trend.
Mean-reversion
Fades extremes (RSI / Bollinger / z-score) expecting return to a mean. Dangerous in trends.
Scaled entry/exit
Builds or unwinds a target position in fixed laddered tranches. Non-escalating general-purpose execution layer.
